April 4 1940
Katyn Forest, Russia
Rodden Rating: XX
Notes: April 3rd was the start of the operation where the 1st group of prisoners departed from kozlsk. It is likely that the 1st killings were carried out the following day. "POLIN Museum of History of Polish Jews" notes that these officers were executed a day or two later. Mars also makes a tighter semi square with the sun between April 4th - April 18. April 11th is also an interesting date to look at as the sun at 21 aries conjuncts jupiter, opposing true node & semisquares both venus & mars. For the reading, I included both Venus & Mars to the sequence.

Ian: "what do you think these riddles mean as a whole? Explain this detailed summary of events."
Chatgpt o1: "These riddles portray a systematic and brutal extermination carried out by a ruthless force against unsuspecting civilians, including children and students. People gather in ordinary settings—around a fire or in schools—unknowingly awaiting a horrific fate. Under orders from a corrupt power, henchmen descend upon these gatherings, leaving the victims no chance to reason or defend themselves. The narrative suggests that any trace of these individuals’ identities is callously brushed aside by those orchestrating the atrocity. In the aftermath, fragments of records and oral histories remain, offering grim evidence of what happened. At the same time, the event is cloaked in attempts at silence and distortion. The grim details—children murdered, “foolish citizens” executed for expressing harmless opinions—reflect a deep indifference to human life. Observers learn of these crimes only through desperate whispers or uncovered documents. Yet even as outside voices try to piece together what took place, the perpetrators maintain a chilling detachment, refusing to acknowledge the names and stories of those they ended. In short, the riddles paint a sobering picture of how easily a brutal regime can sweep away innocent lives, leaving behind little more than haunted speculation and partial truths."
